Southridge Mall is located at 1111 East Army Post Road in Des Moines, Iowa. Southridge Mall’s hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 5:30 p.m.
Built in 1975, Southridge Mall is located in an area of Des Moines currently undergoing a ‘growth’ phase, leaving Southridge Mall to be the beacon of the southeast community of Des Moines. The 1-million square foot facility features four department stores; including JC Penney, Target, and Sears as well as Advanced Auto Parts, Midas, Pier 1 Imports, Toys R Us and more.
Unique to Southridge Mall is its entertainment aspect, with the Southridge 12 Cinemas movie theater showing all of the latest movies. There is also more family entertainment to be had in the children’s soft play area and Time Out Family Entertainment. In the entertainment realm, Southridge Mall is unrivaled by any other mall in the region.
Southridge Mall also features a food court with a variety of delectable selections from restaurants like Taco John’s, Queen’s Pretzels, Subway and more. Another unique aspect of Southridge Mall is the Hy-Vee Food & Drug Store located on the outer edge of the mall’s facility.
